Throughout my fitness career I’ve had the chance to try out a lot of different resources – supplements, workout equipment, books, and other tools. I’ve used the best and worst of them all and can recommend a few things to help you on your own fitness journey.
That’s what this resources page is all about. It’s my master list of recommendations that I personally use. I believe that these resources can improve your quality of life and fitness lifestyle. So take a look through them to see if anything catches your attention.
But first, I want you to know that some of the items below are affiliate links. That means if you end up buying something I will earn a small commission. This is at no additional cost to you. I use these items personally and wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t like them.

Pure Label Grass-Fed Whey ProteinI did a lot of research on powders before settling on this one. It’s unflavored whey protein. What that means is there is only 1 single ingredient. No artificial flavors. No hormones. No heat processing. And it’s grass-fed. I use a scoop each day post-workout and blend it with some milk and frozen fruit for natural flavoring.
Carlson’s Cod Liver OilThere’s been a lot of research done on fish oil and omega-3 fatty acids. I add 1 tsp of this to my protein smoothie. I prefer the liquid instead of the pills as it’s much easier to get in my desired dose. It’s also lemon-flavored, so you don’t have to worry about any fish taste.
Creatine MonohydrateCreatine is probably the most researched performance supplement and it has been proven to be effective and safe long-term. Even better, it’s cheap. Taking 1 tsp/day will cost you under $3/month. I put a tsp of this powder into my post-workout protein smoothie.
Multi-VitaminI did a lot of research to find the best vitamin supplement. Most products use low quality vitamins that aren’t readily assimilated by the body. Controlled Labs uses quality ingredients. The serving size is 6 pills/day, but I only take 3 and that lasts me 3 months.
