Thank you for all your recipes, words of encouragement, and weight loss secrets. I have been struggling to lose my “baby weight” for a couple of years. I excercise A LOT, at least 1.5 hours daily, if not more, between boot camp, TRX, pilates, hot yoga, zumba, combat conditioning, running, and more, yet I still struggle. My problem is this, with a very active 2 year old, I don’t always have the time to make most of these dishes. In addition, it is rather hard to get her to eat these foods. And I definitely don’t have time to make 2 dishes for every mealtime. Have you come across any kid friendly dishes that are quick to prepare? I know I’m asking a lot, since I haven’t really been able to find much myself. I know many other parents with the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for all your great work!

Hi Termeh, it’s definitely more difficult with kids. I have 3 myself. What we do is my wife and I eat our own food during the day (we cook day’s worth of food in advance and refrigerate it), and then make a unique dinner that we share with the kids. However, you’re right, the kids don’t always want to eat it. To cut down on time, my wife tries to stick with the main ingredient that we can all eat (beef, chicken, pork, etc), and then cook a couple different sides (one for them and one for us).
