Guest Post Guidelines

At this time guest posts are only being accepted from other fitness bloggers. Coach Calorie gets about 170,000 unique visitors a month (April 2012). Guest posting is great way to broaden your readership, earn valuable backlinks, and get your point of view across to new people. If you have something you’d like to write about, follow these guidelines.

  • The length of the article needs to be between 600-1000 words.
  • Bring your “A” game. Your article needs to be the best of your best.
  • This is an opportunity to garner attention for your website.
  • The better the article content, the more attention you will receive.
  • Your article should be 100% original, and not be posted anywhere else on the web.
  • Subjects should be fitness, weight loss, diet, health, or exercise related.
  • Articles should not read like an infomercial. You are writing to help my readers reach their goals.
  • Topics must align with the ideals of Coach Calorie – Diet & Exercise for a Healthy Lifestyle.
  • You will be allowed 2 relevant links (dofollow) in the article body, and 2 in your author box.
  • These links may link back to your own website, or other work of your own from elsewhere on the web.
  • I will have exclusive rights to publish your article.
  • If need be, I will make minor edits to your work.
  • Please include a bio and picture (get it from Gravatar) for your author box at the end of your post.
  • Your author box should have at most 50 words. The links you post here must be related to health and fitness.
